Onthree were commissioned to develop a new identity, toolkit and narrative to help communicate the spin-out of the charity incubator Ark Ventures out of parent, Ark. The organisation partners with social entrepreneurs and philanthropists to build and strengthen organisations that help young people thrive.
After initial consultations and analysis, we developed a new name and identity for the organisation – Purposeful Ventures.
Why ‘Purposeful’? The areas they support and the work they do has purpose and impact in the society we live in. And, the way in which they approach their work is purposeful – thinking as carefully about the ‘how’ as well as the ‘what’.
The interlock between the P and the V in the identity represents their connection and proximity to the charities they work with.

Beyond the visual identity system, we created a full communications toolkit including all key business articulations, comprehensive communications templates and a website, with a full set of brand guidelines to help manage the implementation across all touchpoints.
